Number starting with zero

Hi guys - Is there a way to not automatically clear '0' if a number value is like '01234'

I'm using a number control to enter a credit card number with a prefix 1234 XXXX. The users will be entering the other 8 digits which should allow a number starting with '0'

Hi Alex - Is there a way to fix this leading zero issue. And also how do we change the number format to something like xx xxxx.

We had a discussion with Manish, and a case like this calls for the regular
text field to be used, with a regex or similar for validation. Unfortunately
the plain text field doesn't support showing a prefix or suffix, like the
number field does, so we've added a +1 on request for enhancement #2324.
