NullPointerException, but I don't know why

Ryan Puddephatt

Hi all,

I have a page (attached), which worked fine on the OPS 02/03/06 and previous, but now doesn’t work in the latest nightly build (09/03/06) I have two other pages that have the same problem, but I don’t know why! I tried running this in the sandbox, but it doesn’t produce the error. I deleted some of the page and the error went away (I have commented where I deleted) I tried to narrow it down, but it always produces the error. The parts I removed are xforms:groups which have xforms:binds for them, I don’t know if that’s relevant!

Any Ideas?

Ryan,

This seems to be the same bug I hit when running your previous test
case for the border problem.

RE: NullPointerException, but I don't know why

Ryan Puddephatt
Alex,
When I remove the xforms:group (all of which have refs, which have
relevant bind) it works, seems it could be something to do with that code!

Ryan,

This is now fixed. The next unstable build should have the fix.

Re: NullPointerException, but I don't know why

Erik Bruchez

Yes, the builds are always built from CVS, so if some bug fix makes it
into an unstable build, it means the fix is in CVS (unless there is a
temporary regression).
