All,
We just found out that a change introduced on June 12 caused possible
performance regressions when using XInclude. Simply put, the XInclude
processor just disabled caching for the rest of the pipeline.
Besides explicit use, XInclude is used implicitly by the Page Flow
Controller, and there are several cases where caching could be impacted
without directly using XInclude. For example, any sub-page flow under
/apps/my-app/ would be reloaded at each request.
The good news is that this regression is now fixed :-)
