Javier,
We haven't tried this at Orbeon. The easiest way to know would be to just try it if you can. Just go access the online examples at http://www.orbeon.com/ops/welcome/ and see if they work. They do with Safari on the iPhone at least, but from what I understand IE Mobile (if that's the browser which is going to be used) is fairly poor in comparison to Safari. -Erik javi cerro wrote: > Hello, > I want to know if Orbeon run in a mobile device like Pocket PC with > Windows Mobile 6. > > Thank you > -- > Regards > Javier Cerro > -- Orbeon Forms - Web Forms for the Enterprise Done the Right Way http://www.orbeon.com/ -- You receive this message as a subscriber of the [hidden email] mailing list. Javier,
Thanks for the feedback. I am not surprised based on what I heard about IE Mobile. Do you have the option of running something like Opera Mobile instead? -Erik On Nov 15, 2007, at 3:05 AM, javi cerro wrote: > Hi Erik, > > I have test Orbeon in Windows Mobile 2003 SE, 5 and 6 with IE and > Opera and it not work. > > -- > Regards > Javier Cerro > -- > You receive this message as a subscriber of the [hidden email] > mailing list. > To unsubscribe: mailto:[hidden email] > For general help: mailto:[hidden email]?subject=help > OW2 mailing lists service home page: http://www.ow2.org/wws -- You receive this message as a subscriber of the [hidden email] mailing list. That's too bad. Then it looks that at the moment Safari on the iPhone
is the only working solution. Opera Mobile does support a lot, including Ajax, so it would be interesting to see if it is possible to make things work with some work. We have also been wanting to provide a JavaScript-free version of Orbeon Forms for a long time, but that has yet to materialize. -Erik On Nov 15, 2007, at 2:15 PM, javi cerro wrote: > Hi Erik, > > I have also test Orbeon in Opera Mobile for Nokia N series and in a > PocketPc with Windows Mobile 6 and Orbeon doesn' t work fine. > > -- > Un saludo > Javier Cerro > -- > You receive this message as a subscriber of the [hidden email] > mailing list. > To unsubscribe: mailto:[hidden email] > For general help: mailto:[hidden email]?subject=help > OW2 mailing lists service home page: http://www.ow2.org/wws Orbeon Forms - Web Forms for the Enterprise Done the Right Way http://www.orbeon.com/ -- You receive this message as a subscriber of the [hidden email] mailing list.
