Hi, Doesn’t anybody know if it is possible to
generate an Office doc file from a pipeline in order I can open it with
OpenOffice? Thanks, Jordi -- You receive this message as a subscriber of the [hidden email] mailing list. To unsubscribe: mailto:[hidden email] For general help: mailto:[hidden email]?subject=help ObjectWeb mailing lists service home page: http://www.objectweb.org/wws |

Jordi,
We routinely generate Word XML files from Orbeon Forms. We plan to add an example to the Government Forms soon, in fact we have an RFE already: http://forge.objectweb.org/tracker/index.php?func=detail&aid=306904&group_id=168&atid=350207 Note that this is not directly the .doc format, but the Word XML format supported since Office 2003. Obviously if you require plain old .doc format, this won't work. -Erik Jordi Amatller wrote: > An rtf file will be ok too > > > > ------------------------------------------------------------------------ > > *De:* Jordi Amatller [mailto:[hidden email]] > *Enviado el:* jueves, 12 de abril de 2007 9:46 > *Para:* [hidden email] > *Asunto:* [ops-users] MS Word generation > > > > Hi, > > > > Doesn’t anybody know if it is possible to generate an Office doc file > from a pipeline in order I can open it with OpenOffice? > > > > Thanks, > > Jordi > -- Orbeon Forms - Web Forms for the Enterprise Done the Right Way http://www.orbeon.com/ -- You receive this message as a subscriber of the [hidden email] mailing list. Thanks Erik for your fast reply,
That will be nice for the new version of Orbeon. Unfortunately not all people use Office 2003. Then I will try to generate an rtf file with something like this: http://www.lowagie.com/iText/ I'll let you know if I get something useful.
