Issue in Orbeon-Lieray Integration

yogi

Hi,

I have just started evaluating Orbeon Forms.

I am currently working with the Liferay Tool. I am trying the Orbeon-Liferay Integration.

I tried out multiple options for Orbeon-Liferay integration, but I am facing some issues

in each of the options (Please see the attached document for the detail).

Any kind of suggestions would be of great help.

Thanks & Regards,

Yogesh Prabhu.

RE: Re: Issue in Orbeon-Lieray Integration

Hi Erik,

Yes, I am using the latest nightly build that I downloaded from the Orbeon site.

Although, I get the Orbeon portlet in Add Application Dock of Liferay, after adding the portlet to the page, if I try to click on an application and then on New, I get a portlet unavailable error.

Am I missing any steps?

Thanks & Regards,

Yogesh Prabhu.

Re: RE: Re: Issue in Orbeon-Lieray Integration

I have to say that we have only recently tried Liferay 6, not Liferay 5.

Since other Liferay-related issues have been reported recently, we at
least want to test again the lates nightly builds with Liferay6. If
there is an issue there, maybe it's going to be the same with Liferay
5.

This said, the first issue you list shows that Liferay is not happy
with your portlet.xml file. It seems to say that after a <mime-type>
element, there is an invalid element. However in our portlet.xml, this
seems fine:

http://github.com/orbeon/orbeon-forms/blob/master/descriptors/web-inf/static/portlet.xml

Can you check that your portlet.xml matches that?
