Integration with Websphere Portal server

Hi I have integrated OPS with WebSphere Potal server. but i am facing lot of problem i want my welcome page should some jsp code as i have to create link dynamically. but it was throwing error that "Fatal error: The content of elements must consist of well-formed character data or markup." what should i do for this. any one con help out here.
