Initial sort in data-table is exciting in Orbeon Forms 3.9.0.201105152046 CE

Heinrich Götzger
Hello together,

we try to get a table runing with a initial sorting of a certain column.
But it seems that this is not working as expected using Orbeon Forms
3.9.0.201105152046 CE.

Please see the attached example for the effect.

Initially loaded, the table should be sorted by the sort_column
DYNCOL1_SORT, but it looks like that it is not sorted at all but just
listed in the order of the data in the given instance
instance('data_content').

If then the sorting is changed by the user to be descending in the
second column the result is as expected. But after changing the sort
order again in the second column, the sorting is in the initial
occurrence of the data again, but not sorted.

The sorting is working as expected if the initial sorting is _not_ set.
The effect is independent of the given initial sort order ascending or
descending.

Thanks for some feedback.

Cheers

Heinrich
