Info Required for installing Orbeon 4.9 with Tomcat 8.

Hi, I am net to Orbeon and trying to install orbeon 4.9 with Tomcat 8. I have few questions if someone can answer. 1.
Is Orbeon 4.9 compatible with Tomcat 8? 2.
When I am downloading Orbeon PE Edison, there are total 4 war files, however installation instruction just talk about orbeon.war file. What is the significance of other war files? 3.
There are other folder/files available in orbeon downloaded zipped file. What do we need to do with them? 4.
I added the license key in orbeon.war and able to see the home page of orbeon forms. However when I am clicking any of the OOTB forms like Controls forms, DMV-14 forms etc, it is giving me the following error. Orbeon Forms - An Error has Occurred

We did run Orbeon Forms 4.9 with Tomcat 8/Java 8 on OS X, but we haven't tried other platforms. Are you on Windows by any chance? > 2. Yes I am on Win-7, jre1.8.0_40, Tomcat-8 and it did not worked. However I tried with tomcat-7 and it is working now with the combination (Win-7, jre1.8.0_40, Tomcat-7).
