Implementing Orbeon in my Environment

Jocko
Hey All,

I have a web app built in Tapestry that currently uses the Chiba XForms
renderer.  We're looking to move away from Chiba and need to know if
Orbeon can work within our existing framework.

We have built our own custom forms handler that is attached to Chiba and
dumps the rendered form into the specified Tapestry page based on data
from the database.

My impression (from what I've read) is that Orbeon requires its own
running app to exist along side our app to get it to display the XForm.
Additionally, it appears that the form formatting and navigation has to
be incorporated into the page flow description.

If this is the case it will not work for our application.

Can anyone provide me answers/resources (other than the Orbeon
documentation, because I've read most of it) for how to implement the
Orbeon engine as a set of classes or a service within our app.  I would
also need to know how to provide an XForm as a String or Document
(loaded from the database) to Orbeon for rendering, returning just the
rendered HTML.  This way we can apply our Tapestry page as a container
for the rendered form.

Thanks
Jocko
