IE problems with latest build

Steve Lenhart
All,

I have been having some strange problems with IE (6.0..... sp2) and the
latest build of Orbeon.

I keep getting errors on line 291 (I think of xforms.js).

I downloaded the nightly, put it on my local tomcat, go to my local
version of the Xforms sandbox with IE gives the error.

Is this a bug somewhere??

Steve

Steve,

This is fixed now. I unwisely named a variable "class", and IE didn't
like very much my choice of name.

Re: IE problems with latest build

Steve Lenhart
Alex,

This error is gone now but I seem to be getting another error ....

Error: xformsPageLoadedServer is not defined
Source file: http://localhost:8080/contracts/ops/javascript/xforms.js
Line: 2967

This is happening in FF and IE on several of my pages.

Re: IE7 and Vista Testing

Brian Bacsu

Hi

I am wondering if anyone has had any experience or issues running Orbeon Forms under IE7 and/or Microsoft Vista?

Thanks,

Brian Bacsu

Steve,

This was a bug I introduced when fixing the error that was happening
when using the FCK editor and running some JavaScript on xforms-ready.
This was fixed yesterday.

Brian,

I am aware of some people using Orbeon Forms with IE 7, and I haven't
heard of any particular problem yet. I am not sure if anyone is using
Orbeon Forms with IE 7 on Vista yet. I would also be interested in
reading other's comments about this.

Alex,

I just updated again trying to get the new upload with replace='instance'

It appears in the latest build the menus aren't dropping down any more .....  JS error onItemDestroy is not defined .... menu-min.js

Re: IE7 and Vista Testing

In reply to this post by Alessandro Vernet
All,

I've done some test with Vista and IE7.
My app works fine without any problem.

Note that Vista is running in the compatible mode (XP).
I will soon be able to test the other Vista version...(not compatible mode)
