Hi Bruno,

In persistence-model.xml the code is making a call to the search API (look for "draft-found"), with draft=only for the specific document id being loaded. If it finds a draft for the current document id then it prompts the user, asking if she wants to open the draft rather than the saved document.

Maybe you can use something like Charles or mitmproxy to look at the request/response being made while the page is loaded. And of course, you'll let us know if Orbeon Forms is doing anything wrong there!

Bruno, got it. And those are very useful diagrams. Would you mind if the Orbeon Forms doc had link to your diagrams?

Hi Bruno,

Sounds good, please let us know, and we'll go through the diagrams and link to them from the documentation!

Hi Bruno,

This is very nice and useful; we're doing some major work on the documentation right now (it needs it!), so once we're done with a first pass over our current doc, I'll go over the diagrams you put together. And again, thank you for sharing this!
