How to localize apps-list.xml

Is there a "standard" and documented way to localize the apps-list.xml file in the Orbeon webapp? Essentially, the "label" attributes need to be localized.

Would be nice to be able to use the same resource file(s) as for xhtml pages.

Laurent,

There is no standard way to do that. I would discourage using apps-
list.xml: it is just part of the Orbeon Forms example and was never
intended for your own applications.

We have more elaborate localization strategies for XForms pages, see
in particular what Form Runner does or even the Government forms
example.

To follow-up on my original post, I should mention that I implemented a solution to localize the navbar. It actually replaces the apps-list.xml but is relatively lightweight and fits in well with the existing approach.
