Hi, I was evaluating the nightly build on my test system (I have
a and it seems like the help buttons are broken in Firefox (3.5.7). They
seem to work fine in IE 8. I didn’t do anything other than switch out the
developer release for the latest nightly, so something in the underlying engine
changed. No errors popped up, just nothing happened. Thanks, Stephanie -- You receive this message as a subscriber of the [hidden email] mailing list. Stephanie,
Do you still see this? If so how exactly are they broken? -Erik On Tue, Jan 26, 2010 at 10:02 AM, Stephanie Hall (TT) <[hidden email]> wrote: > Sorry, I meant to say “I have a separate deployment scheme and it seems like > the help buttons are broken in Firefox (3.5.7).” > > > > From: Stephanie Hall (TT) [mailto:[hidden email]] > Sent: Tuesday, January 26, 2010 10:23 AM > To: [hidden email] > Subject: [ops-users] Help buttons broken in nightly build > > > > Hi, > > > > I was evaluating the nightly build on my test system (I have a and it seems > like the help buttons are broken in Firefox (3.5.7). Hi Erik,
I switched back to the stable developer release (because we have to have help working) so I am not sure if it still happens. When I experienced the original problem, I clicked on the help icons (the ? buttons) but my help popups would not display. Switching back to the developer release fixed it. That is the only thing that was different. I may be able to try out a new nightly build in our test environment to see if it still happens, but I am not sure exactly when. Stephanie,
I just tried and the "help button", which shows the help in sort-of a dialog, works fine in that example. So let us know if you have this problem again, and it is always be useful if you can post a short example that we can use to reproduce the issue. All,
FYI we just fixed a problem related to help not showing properly when using certain XBL components. Although this bug is browser-independent, maybe this was the issue? http://forge.ow2.org/tracker/index.php?func=detail&aid=314806&group_id=168&atid=350207 -Erik On Wed, Feb 24, 2010 at 3:31 PM, Alessandro Vernet <[hidden email]> wrote: > Stephanie, > > I just tried and the "help button", which shows the help in sort-of a > dialog, works fine in that example.
