All,
The next nightly build will feature an upgrade to Xerces 2.9. This has
at least one possibly backward-incompatible change related to
XInclude. Namely, if you were using the namespace URI:
http://www.w3.org/2003/XIncludethen you need it to change it to:
http://www.w3.org/2001/XIncludeThat's right, the correct URI is the one with the older date, 2001,
not the newer date, 2003.
This is due to the fact that the quite old version of Xerces we were
using, Xerces 2.6.2, used 2003 instead of 2001. Then the XInclude
specification reverted to 2001, which is now the only one supported by
Xerces 2.9.
Our own oxf:xinclude processor in XPL already supported the correct
namespace.
In general, if you already use
http://www.w3.org/2001/XInclude, then
everything should be fine. A simple query/replace should fix it
otherwise.
