HTTP Header forwarding from the delegation processor

Gunzenreiner Simon
HTTP Header forwarding from the delegation processor

Hi all

Is there a way to forward http Headers for SOAP/HTTP invocations by the DelegationProcessor? The documentation does not state anything like that, but I think it is a common use case as it is for XForms submissions, where we can configure this behavior via the "oxf.http.forward-headers" or "oxf.xforms.forward-submission-headers" configuration properties.

Best regards

Simon

Simon,

The DelegationProcessor is now deprecated, and I'd recommend you use the <xforms:submission> construct, either directly from XForms, or through the submission processor. See:

http://wiki.orbeon.com/forms/doc/developer-guide/processors-xforms-submission

Then you will be able to use the properties you mentioned to setup which headers should be forwarded, or even the nested <xforms:header> element to pass along specific headers, which you could even dynamically compute in XForms. For more on this, see:

http://wiki.orbeon.com/forms/doc/developer-guide/xforms-advanced-submissions
