HTML textarea doesn't work for Safari 3.1 on windows machines

Chris Bailey-2
The html text area doesn't work on Safari (3.1) on window boxes.

On http://www.orbeon.com/ops/xforms-html-area/ it gives up with 'slow
script' warnings.

In my application it prints 'undefined variable' error to the console
and then all xforms interactions (select controls, triggers etc) are
disabled.

Chris.

We are using an old version of the FCKeditor, which I don't think is
supported on anything but Firefox and IE. We would like to migrate to
the YUI RTE at some point.

Re: Re: HTML textarea doesn't work for Safari 3.1 on windows machines

Chris Bailey-2
Thanks for the response.
The good news is that it seems to work fine with Safari on my Mac :)

I think I just hoped that it would gracefully degrade to a simple text
area rather then causing the page to stop working (esp. as you do
mention safari by name on the orbeon homepage).

Regards,
Chris.
