Getting orbeon attached files in a pdf template

Hi all,

I've created a form under Orbeon Builder which contains an attached image field. Then I've created my pdf template under Adobe Acrobat Pro and I've associated it to my orbean form.
Every thing works well (all the fields are filled correctly in my pdf file), but I can only get the path to my attached image and not the file it-self.

Does someone know, please, how I can get the attached image added to the joined files of my pdf file ?

The only thing supported right now is either:

1. showing the image path (not very useful!)
2. embedding the image into the form

#2 was implemented about a year ago but I am not sure this made it to 3.9:

Thanks for answering me.

I've already checked this doc (http://wiki.orbeon.com/forms/doc/user-guide/form-builder-user-guide/pdf-generation#TOC-Image-attachments) but I don't have the image embeded in the pdf form.
I'm using the 3.9.1 PE version of orbeon. So, may be the #2 is not implemented in this version.

I suspect that's the case. You might want to give 4.0 M6 a try.

Do you know please when the final version of Orbeon Forms 4.0 is going to be released. It is an important information that we need to tell to our client.

Wafa,

A few months ago we "knew" and we were shooting for sometime in May…
So the truth is that at this point we don't know except "as soon as
possible". We know what we need to do though:

- address *most* issues listed in the bug tracker under M7, M8, M9, M10, and M11
- land the improved Form Runner L&F
- produce a beta and then RC builds and get feedback
- prepare the web site for the release
