[FormRunner, 3.8.0.rc1] Disabled "Upload PDF" & broken services dialogs

Hello,

I am on Orbeon master/ nightly build, and I have two issues when creating new forms with FormRunner:

* "Upload Schema" & "Upload PDF" stay disabled even when saving & reopening a new form, so I can't upload PDFs
* all three "Add" buttons under "Services & Actions" doesn't show the upload dialog I have seen under 3.7.1

I am not sure whether these are bugs or configuration issues, but they are easily reproducible with a "fresh install" (I downloaded the war file from nightly build). Do you have any hint how to get those features working?

I've just found the thread describing that "my missing features" aren't available in the CE edition anymore. This is very annoying - I spent 1,5 weeks of customizing and changing Orbeon 3.8.0RC1 and now it seems that I have to downgrade to 3.7.1 because I need the PDF template support.

Can you give any statement concerning if CE will get those features back and if there is already a pricing model for PE? My application must go online within the next weeks - should I downgrade or wait for changes which makes PDF templates available?

Hi,

See the recent announcement about 3.8 RC, and in particular the FAQ:

I think you have the options to downgrade to the last nightly build
that was working for you, or tinker with the source code, or get a PE
subscription.

We realize that this is an inconvenience, but it was not easy to avoid.
