Hello,
I have a question about the Orbeon Form Builder Application. Is it possible to export the XForms generated with Orbeon Form Builder as an file? I want to import the forms generated in orbeon in another program, to be precisely in Intalio Designer. Thanks for your Help, Tobias |

Tobias,
You can access the source generate by Form Builder, from Form Builder itself, in the left sidebar, under Advanced / Edit Source. But note that this source requires Form Runner, and I believe that Intalio incorporates an older version of Orbeon Forms which didn't have Form Runner, and that Intalio doesn't yet integrates with Form Runner. But this is something you might want to ask Intalio about. Hi Alex,
thanks for your fast response. I postesd the question to the Intalio forum, too. It seems, that there is no (easy) way to integrate the xforms created with orbeon in the IntalioDesigner. But I think I find another solution for my problem. Thanks for your help, Tobias

Hello Tobias,
I am in difficulty with regard to the integration of Intalio with xform generated by Orbeon. How did you solve the problem? Thank you. Bye |
Hello Rain,
I only by-pass the problem and didn't solve it. It seems to be difficult/not possible to import XForms generated with OrbeonForms directly into Intalio. So we use the IntalioDesigner to generate our xForms. Here is the link to the answer which i got from Intalio: http://community.intalio.com/forums/intalio-bpm-6.0/intalio-desginer-and-orbeon-forms/view.html Best regards Tobias |

Tobias,
Another possibility, which especially makes sense if you already have forms running inside Orbeon Forms, is to keep your deployment of Orbeon Forms with your forms as-is, and to have your forms talk to the Intalio BPM through web services. (In this case you wouldn't use the version of Orbeon Forms and the form-related tools that come with the Intalio Designer.) Hi, the wiki says that:
" Figure out way: XForms, XPL? use persistence layer, or direct eXist/resource calls? Implementing write mode in resource persistence layer would be good too". What's in your opinion the easiest way to export an xform and what is a good starting point? For example: what are the classes that need to be extended? Thanks Giuseppe |
