I am currently implementing Orbeon for a project. It is a great system,
but I've encountered some problems.
I need to change the template which Form Builder opens at the beginning.
The logo on the top-left corner and an address should be generated
dynamically from a WebService. Where can I find that template to change it?
Is there a configurable parameter to switch to european formatted dates
(DD-MM-YYYY)?
Those are problems I encountered when I tried to define template
sections. I briefly checked if they are known problems but I couldn't
find any solution to it.
- Multilinguism
When I define a template section and put the labels in all the languages
wanted, then the translation doesn't work anymore when I use this
section in a form. I made an example on the Orbeon Form Builder sandbox
to ilustrate this [1], [2]
- XML Schema validation
When I upload a XML schema into a form called "library" and assign XML
schema types to the fields, then I get a template section that is
validated with a XML schema. Those sections are not usable in other forms.
To reproduce it:
- I created a form on the orbeon.com Form Builder sandbox site [3] with
the parameters
application: eFORMS-IV
form name: instance
add the "XML schema" section and publish or test the form.
