External properties-local.xml file

Where can I put a properties-local.xml file so that it is read but isn't in the orbeon war file?

Once I have that, can I also have my custom xbl components in a location external to the orbeon war file?

Hi Brian,

You can put the properties-local.xml, or any other resource file, outside of the war by setting up a "file system resource manager" in your web.xml. With Tomcat, you can even do this in the server.xml, so no change at all to the war is needed. You'll find more information about this in the post:
