Editable Combo Box

I know this is not part of the XForms spec, but has anyone created an editable combo box for OPS, so that you can either pick from a list or fill in a unique value in a text field?

I am sorry to contradict you, but this is in the XForms
specification. It is called "open selection", and you can apply this
to xforms:select and xforms:select1.

However, OPS only supports a very specific case of open selection in
the form of the autocomplete control with
appearance="xxforms:autocomplete". We have an RFE to add this though:
