Development steps

Hi everyone,

   I am new to orbeon forms. I had download open source from git. But I
don't know how to create and build this as project.
Can anyone help me? Thanks in advance.

In general, there is no need to build Orbeon Forms yourself; you can just
download a CE build (see 1st link below). If you're starting with Orbeon
Forms, I'd really recommend you use the pre-made builds. However, should you
want to know more about building Orbeon Forms yourself, you'll find more
information about that in the second link below. You'll let me know if
you're able to use the pre-made builds, or, if not, to create your own build
using the information linked below.

    I'm not asking for runnable version. I need to develop further in orbeon
without using IntelliJ IDEA or SBT. I need to create orbeon like as liferay
portlet and need to configure further.

Then I would recommend you go for Orbeon Forms PE, as it comes with Liferay
support out-of-the-box. You can find more about the Orbeon Forms Liferay
proxy portlet on the page linked below. Is using this portlet something that
would work for you?
