Dear Orbeon Forms community,
I'd like to use PostgreSQL database for persistence on forms created with Form Builder, but as you know, PostgreSQL is not supported out of the box.
To solve this issue, I've just posted job post to Elance.com (less than $500 budget). This is the content of my job post:
"Forms created with the Form Builder of Orbeon Forms can use Oracle, MySQL, and eXist databases for persistence, but PostgreSQL database is not supported out of the box.
However persistence is done trough a REST calls, so your job would be to write services that conform to the documented REST API (
http://wiki.orbeon.com/forms/doc/developer-guide/form-runner/persistence-api), and persists forms data to PostgreSQL.
You should first check the code of the existing implementations for Oracle and MySQL (
https://github.com/orbeon/orbeon-forms/tree/master/src/resources/apps/fr/persistence), on which we will base the code as an open source advocacy."
If you can do the job, please let me know. It would be recommended to use Elance, although it is not a requirement. Thank you in advance.
