Column "xml" in SQL persistence

sodastream
Hi,

Isn't XML is a reserved word in recent SQL standards? A column named 'xml' in the database schema seems risky even though the popular brands handle it.

Hi,

True, that wasn't a wise choice. From what I read in the page linked below, it is not so much that keywords can't be used as identifiers, including column names, but that they would need to be put between quotes in queries. So, maybe, it isn't such a big problem. Or at least not as big as changing the name now, and having to handle backward compatibility.
