Can we customised the pdf file name generated by Orbeon ?

Is it possible to use parameters passed by service as the file name of the pdf generated by orbeon ?
If yes, what need to be done in "properties-local.xml" ?

Animesh,

Currently this is not possible: the file name is the unique (and randomly generated) XForms document id.

Changing this/making this configurable could make sense, but that would be a new feature.

Ran across this in the last two weeks. Statically configurable PDF file name would be nice. Being able to craft a name based upon values in the form would be even better. I think this would be a significant improvement in usability for the final consumer of the PDFs.

How many different places are there from which PDFs get names? (send() and PDF button are different, right?)

The `send` action will point to the URL specified, which can be dynamic, while the PDF button points to a predefined URL format, which use the UUID of the document.
