Bug found in v3.7.1

javierpc
We've found the following bug while using one of Orbeon v3.7.1's demos:

- Go to XForms- Government Forms
- Add a new DMV-14 form
- In the section named "Vehicles, Vessels, or Placards Owned By You", leave the first table entry empty. Add a new vehicle and leave that empty as well.
- Select the first row of the vehicle table and press "Delete vehicle".
- Go to the top of the page and press "View error details".

You now only have one vehicle entry but you still get errors linked to 2 vehicles. You should see the following errors:

(...)
California Plate / CF / Placard No. #1 Must contain letters and numbers only and be 7 characters long at most.
Vehicle Id or Vessel Hull Id Number #1 Must contain letters and numbers only and be 17 characters long at most.
(...)
California Plate / CF / Placard No. #2 Must contain letters and numbers only and be 7 characters long at most.
Vehicle Id or Vessel Hull Id Number #2 Must contain letters and numbers only and be 17 characters long at most.

Does anybody know how this can be fixed? Has this been fixed already? Is there an easier way to do this? Upgrading Orbeon to a newer version is not possible.

The DMV-14 form has changed a little bit, but yes this has been fixed.
I tried with recent code as well as 3.9 and I don't see this issue.

In the end anything can be fixed with enough time and effort, but
knowing the history of the Form Runner error summary, it's probably
not a trivial fix. There have been lots of improvements to the error
summary, and to XForms UI events, on which it depends. And 3.7.1 is
more than 3 years old so there is little chance it's going to be a
matter of changing just a few lines.
