Broken link to attachments

Hi,

After uploading attachments in Orbeon, we noticed that if filename contains special characters like & (ampersand), + (plus sign), then the link to download them is broken. Such files are uploaded and stored in Orbeon DB without any problem, however when the link (in form) to download is clicked Orbeon opens the form itself.

Correctly processed attachment has the following URI in XML data of the saved form:
/fr/service/persistence/crud/myapp/myform/data/4aef9261535dac24b3d30866b659e0c731b27988/3d74a08f8d793d923ffcff035fcc6004f21b1ab4.bin

Attachment with broken link has the following URI in XML data of the saved form:
file:/myorbeon/_tmp/xforms_upload_4212549999798470671.tmp?filename=PDF+43Mb+image+only+portrait%26landscape.pdf&mediatype=application%2Fpdf&size=44365751&mac=456d6f2345d6505f0334279c8786c6ee6118d999

Is it a bug in Orbeon? How can we prevent it?

Hi Rovsh,

How can we reproduce this? I just tried creating a form with Form Builder in Orbeon Forms 4.5, added a upload field, saved, published, went to the new page, attached a file with an "&" character in the file name, saved, reopened that data, and could save the attached file just fine. Are you doing something different, or seeing something different?

Willem, thank you for the update on this; I didn't realize this was something that got fixed in 4.5. And Rovsh, you'll let us know if you still have this problem with 4.5.
