Border Problems

Ryan Puddephatt

Hi All,

I have come across a border problem, it originally occurred in IE where the last row didn’t have a bottom border. I fixed this with a empty <xhtml:tr/> but this has caused a problem in Firefox. I have attached two screenshots, 008 shows the view in firefox and 007 shows it once I’ve added height=”0” and three <td>s to it

Any ideas on how to solve this?

R.

Hi Ryan,

In general the trick of the empty <tr/> works and we use it in the
examples. Would you have some code that we can run in the sandbox and
that exhibits this behavior?

Ryan,

At this point your file throws an NPE in the sandbox, which should not
happen. I have added a bug for this issue, and we can come back to the
border problem once this is fixed.

Ryan,

Now that the NPE is fixed, I was able to run your example. It works
fine when I remove the thead and tbody in the HTML. I also modified
the CSS accordingly. I am not sure why we see this problem when thead
and tbody are used, but leaving them out should not hurt. The modified
file is attached.
