Add items to repeat using dialog box

Hi,

I'm seeking an example of using a dialog box (or something similar) to search a service instance and from the results, be able to add items to a nodeset using fr:repeatable or similar.

I have been able to get small bits and pieces working but can't get it working all together so I'm hoping someone has done this before?
