AW: Schema to XForms?

Kovacs, Robert
Thanks for the fast reply. I have problems with the Chiba-Tool Schema2XForms.
I can´t run it. The generator from IBM sounds good. I will test it.
There is also no way to transform a Schema. I also have to program the XForms?

Robert

I don't think OPS has such a tool, but you might want to check the IBM XML Forms Generator project:

The Chiba project also has something along these lines.

It is possible to transform an XSD schema to XForms and

exist a tool to solve this problem?

Thanks, robert

Re: Schema to XForms?

Hank Ratzesberger
Robert,

I have used XSLT to transform a schema into
an xforms, but it's not complete and can't
take any arbitrary schema.  I also add
<appInfo> elements to help.  It's not ready
to submit, but I would say it is possible to
go from schema to xforms if you annotate
with your own elements and your schema is
fairly straightforward with no choice or
substitutions, but even then you might be
able to handle this with your own annotations.

But, yes, I currently have to manually edit
what I produce to complete the form.
