next release?

Sorry to ask that perennial old question.

Do you have any timeframe for the release of 2018.1? Since the inclusion of
TInyMCE 4 in that version solves an outstanding problem for us (and a couple
of other minor issues) we would like to use that release for our next
customer release and that is in about a month or so (end(ish) July).

Hi Brian,

It's always a good question – now let's see I have a good enough answer! We
just have few issues to take care of and the final testing to do, so we are
shooting to release it in the next few weeks, but it's always hard to say
how many weeks exactly.

  It is good to hear that it is "coming soon" :-)

To give us a chance to test with this new version in parallel with your
final work on the release, can we get a pre-release PE version to integrate
with our system and so we can begin testing as well? We often have minor
issues when upgrading the orbeon version that take a little time to flush
out in our testing.

Hi Alex,
  I was wondering if the release is close. I'm being asked for some sort of
timeframe so we can decide if we will need to revert our release to 2017.2.?
or proceed on the basis of 2018.1 being available in the next week or two.

If it is going to be more than a week then a recent PE build would be useful
for our testing.

It is going more than one or two weeks, I fear, due to ongoing vacations. I
would say that by now we are hoping to ship by the end of August.
