incremental="true"

Jarosław Kowalewski
Hi,
is there any option to enable this globally or at least per a form?
(Very often) The business expectation is to run validations and calculations immediately just after user type values. Now to achieve it we need to add to each field in the form attr incremental="true" directly in the form.

The default behavior for validations of type formula is that not always they are evaluated immediately.

I cannot find anything in the doc but not the first time :)

Hi Jarek,

In this case, the doc didn't lie :), and there is no option to, in one go,
have all the controls in your form behave as if they were incremental. This
being said, incremental fields create more chatter between the client and
the server, and thus also more load on the server, so should be used
sparingly.
