XFormsJavaScriptEventHandlers

Hank Ratzesberger
Dear OPS Team,

I have not installed the latest build (a day before the warning unstable),
sorry if my question is answered there, but what I wondered is whether this
feature is working its way in or postponed for a bit:

http://wiki.objectweb.org/ops/Wiki.jsp?page=XFormsJavaScriptEventHandlers

Similarly, whether you decided to try to support the

var myNode = getInstanceDocument('myDocID');

extension.

Other than that, if this were a poker game, you would
be out-rolling James Bond.

Thanks,
Hank Ratzesberger
UCSB

Hank,

Actually yes, although the syntax is a little different. Try something like:

<xforms:group id="my-group">
     <xxforms:script ev:event="DOMActivate">
         alert("I was pressed: " + event.target.id + ", " + this.id);
     </xxforms:script>
     <xforms:trigger id="my-trigger">
         <xforms:label>Try Me!</xforms:label>
         <xforms:help>This is help</xforms:help>
         <xforms:hint>This is a hint</xforms:hint>
     </xforms:trigger>
</xforms:group>
