Unable to retrieve XForms engine state

Duane Gran
I'm using the nightly build from 9-Dec and periodically I get the
following error condition when using XForms NG:

XForms error: Unable to retrieve XForms engine state.

It requires a restart of Tomcat to recover and I can't seem to find a
repeatable pattern which produces the condition.  It happens both on
the application I'm building as well as the sample forms.  Has anyone
else seen this, and if so, is there something that I may be doing to
cause it?

This occurs when you have the "oxf.xforms.state-handling" property set
to "session" in properties.xml and you restart Tomcat.

Either:

o Use "client" instead of "session"

or

o Force a page reload (ctrl-shift-R with Firefox, ctrol-F5 with IE) on
your page after restarting Tomcat. You have to make sure you don't do
this on a page that is the result of a POST, or it won't work.
