Responsive design on own form

ricetrac
Hi,

We write our own forms without going through the builder and we use Orbeon
4.4.
By switching to the latest version of Orbeon, will Responsive Design apply
to our forms or should they be specially written?

Thank You.

Julien

Hi Julien,

"Responsive CSS" is implemented at the level of Form Runner, for instance so
fields that on a "desktop" show in a grid, instead on a "mobile" show
stacked up, this to avoid horizontal scrolling.

If you don't use the higher level features that come with Form Runner, such
as the aforementioned grid, or error summary, or default buttons, there
isn't that much related to responsive design that plain XForms can do for
you. But of course, just let me know if I'm missing anything, or
misunderstood your question.
