RE: XForms/XPL - passing XML from XPL output to input forminstance

Stephen Bayliss
Do you want to update the status message based on the results of your
pipeline?

If so you can just use XUpdate or XSL to update the <status> node within
the instance document, as part of your pipeline.

Subject: [ops-users] XForms/XPL - passing XML from XPL output to input
forminstance

Hi,

I have an xforms input form. Following form submission, I would like to
pass a status message back to the input form from an XPL pipeline.

I have <status>status message</status> element in the xforms instance
defined in the input form .xsl file, however, it's not clear how to
update the value of the <status/> tag following the execution of a
series of processors in an xpl pipeline.

Is anyone able to provide an example or explanation on how to achieve
this?

thank you v much
Tanya
