Loading a drop down from database(Value property issue)

PurushK
I'm trying to load a list of school names from a table in database. I'm able
to load it. But the problem what I face is the value property of the drop
down is getting dynamically set to a numeric value as 1,2,3,4,...... I don't
want these numbers.
I want the value property to be set to the actual school name it self. Need
help in doing this.
I'm using a normal drop down only.

Hi Purush,

The values you entered in Form Builder will be stored in the form data when
users make the corresponding selection. However, we don't "share those
values" with users/browsers, as they don't need to see them: they are only
there for the form author and possibly backend systems. Does this make
sense?

Alex

Thank you Alex. That was helpful. I think I confused myself seeing the value property with numeric values in it.
