Keeping trtack of changes...

Pascal Heus
Erik and all:
Is there a place where I can keep track of the new features or
enhancements that are made to OPS? I usually find out by reading this
mailing list through the XForms Everywhere feed but it easy to miss
features. As some of these changes have fairly big impact on
developments, it would be nice to have a permanent aggregated list (like
in the Wiki). If it's not already there, I'll gladly help you maintain this.
thanks
Pascal

Pascal,

Although that's probably not quite what you want, you can subscribe to
the ops-commits list to see commits as they happen:

   http://mailbucket.org/ops-commits.xml

We also try to regularly update the change list at:

   http://www.orbeon.com/ops/doc/home-changes-35

Finally, we have started summarizing changes on the blog, including in
these two posts:

http://www.orbeon.com/blog/2006/11/04/two-weeks-of-xforms-modularization-pdf-dialogs-working-group-and-more/
http://www.orbeon.com/blog/2006/10/21/a-week-of-xforms-rest-performance-and-more/

Do you see a way to improve on this?

Erik:
Thanks, the http://www.orbeon.com/ops/doc/home-changes-35 page is actually quite close to what I was looking for.
Would be nice if we - developers and members of the mailing list - could have an easy way to contribute documentation/examples and provide technical comments. I kind of like the approach taken by the pHp manual where each function is documented with user contributions at the bottom of the page (for example http://us3.php.net/manual/en/function.print.php). A similar implementation could quickly be up and running using with http://www.phpmyfaq.de/ (ideally of course we would this to be an XForms based FAQ tool instead)

Hi Pascal,

Yes, I also always liked the approach taken by PHP for their
documentation. Maybe one of those days we'll implement something like
this. If you feel like it, you might want to add this feature to the
documentation yourself, and contribute it here.

In the meantime, if you feel that some addition to the documentation
would be worthwhile, you can write the paragraph to be added or
modified and send it in this mailing list.
