Free Java embedding API

Hawk
Hello,

is it possible to use the  Java embedding API
<https://doc.orbeon.com/form-runner/link-embed/java-api>   for free? I know
that the /orbeon-embedding.war/ is only shipped in PE, but we would like to
manage our own server, so we do not need the paid subscription hosting.

Is using Orbeon in an iframe a viable alternative? It didn't work for me
properly on localhost.

Best regards,
Adrián Szegedi

Hi Adrián,

I am afraid that the Java and JavaScript embedding APIs are PE features. And
yes, you could certainly use an iframe. This has downsides compared to the
Java or JavaScript embedding, but if using the PE isn't an option for you,
using an iframe might be a viable alternative.
