Creating screenshots

A picture is worth a thousand words, and so is a screenshot. I have
been looking for a while for a good Windows software that would make
it easier to create screenshots. I tried a number of them but always
ended up reverting to the ctrl-PrtScr, crop in GIMP, and save as PNG
method. Finally, Gadwin created the software I was looking for. It is
free, and if you happen to run Windows, you might want to give it a
try:

If you happen to run Linux, you've got Xvfb, xwud and xwdtopnm...

Of course, these are command line tools, but they work
beautifully :-)...
