Autosuggest control

Hi all,

Happy new year. I wish a great year to everyone and of course OPS.

Some times ago John Cobo talk about a "Autosuggest Control" which work
like "google suggests".

I'd like to have this kind of control in my app.

Has anyone made something like that ?

Can we use xforms control with submission on each character typed ?
If not, how can I call a .xpl within Javascript ?

Any help is welcome.

Hi Marc,

This is something we had in mind for while, even if we never got to
actually implement this. Having a Google Suggests-type of widget would
be a very good implementation for the <xforms:select1
selection="open"> control.

I noticed we didn't have an entry in the bug base to track this, so I
added one with some links to relevant web sites, including the one you
mentioned Marc.
