Hi,
It seems that this listing is updated only once a day. In addition, each submission has to be approved by a moderator. For the easier flowing, I suggest you moderate after posting and remove what is spam. I assume that most people have valid postings rather than spam. And if I may, as second proposal for the orbeon site itself. The navigation is very difficult to use. It should be clear and structured with the possiblity to navigate to almost all pages of the site from it (and should be placed on one place). This should include (on top of the existing): tutorial, examples, download, forums, news, faq etc. I hope this helped. I am starting to use your software and found this to be annoying. Otherwise, a really great product!!! Well done! Assaf -- You receive this message as a subscriber of the [hidden email] mailing list. All,
I second the opinion on the mailing list. It is much too slow to make postings on this list, especially if you are working on a commercial project and you need quick interactions with the community to resolve your issues/problems. I might have to quit OPS alltogether for this project, as I keep getting stuck and it takes me 6+ hours to post questions to the terrific OPS community, where help is readily at hand :-) Thank you for listening. Hmmm
When I subscribed as a digest user, that's what I saw. I changed my list subscription to be "normal" and I seem to get posts as and when they are submitted Alex -----Original Message----- From: Henrik Pettersen [mailto:[hidden email]] Sent: Friday, July 21, 2006 3:05 PM To: [hidden email] Subject: Re: [ops-users] A proposal for this listing All, I second the opinion on the mailing list. Assaf, Enrik,
I don't know how do you read this mailing-list, but I can see my message a few minutes after I have posted. And some answears often come back faster ;-). See the "eXist REST content-type issue" thread. I posted 18 minutes after Erik answear's, and Damiano 7 minutes after mine. -- Marc -- You receive this message as a subscriber of the [hidden email] mailing list. Alex,
would you mind telling me how I change my list subscription to "normal" and how to subscribe as a 'digest user'? It would be much appreciated :-) Thanks! Hmmmm.... Perhaps you don't see your own posting on the mailing list
until you get a reply? Hi,
Go to this http://www.objectweb.org/wws/lists/projects/ops Web site. When you subscribed to the list you would have been given a password. Log in using your email address and the password you were supplied and one of the items you can change is how you want messages from the list sent to you Alex -----Original Message----- From: Henrik Pettersen [mailto:[hidden email]] Sent: Friday, July 21, 2006 3:46 PM To: [hidden email] Subject: Re: [ops-users] A proposal for this listing Alex, would you mind telling me how I change my list subscription to "normal" and how to subscribe as a 'digest user'? All,
That's right, you can choose whether you get the list message by message, or as a daily digest. But I think that what you are either experiencing: o The fact that your own messages are not echoed back to you as Henrik suggested. o A transient problem with the mailing-list, an email server, or your email client. I usually get messages from ops-users on a close to real-time basis. Note that on the other hand, the online mailing-list archive [1] is updated only once a day. -Erik [1] http://mail-archive.objectweb.org/ops-users/index.html Henrik Pettersen wrote: > Hmmmm....
